- Greet golfers and provide a warm welcome as they arrive.
- Manage the tee sheet and ensure that players tee off on time.
- Coordinate with the Golf Shop to ensure smooth transition for tee times and bookings.
- Communicate with golfers about course conditions, rules, and any relevant information.
- Assist with resolving any issues or disputes that arise on the course.
- Monitor the pace of play and take necessary actions to keep the flow of play smooth.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all golfers have an enjoyable experience.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Golf Operations Manager.
- Previous experience as a Golf Starter or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of golf etiquette and rules.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work well in a team environment.
