Primarily working from home but will need to work on site occasionallyJob Summary:The Froedtert Health Pharmacy Solutions (FHPS) Accreditation, Regulatory, Compliance & Knowledge coordinator is responsible for tracking, monitoring, reviewing, interpreting, and communicating all aspects of existing, proposed, and newly enacted federal and state rules and regulations, Joint Commission (JC) accreditation standards, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Conditions of Participation, all applicable accreditations or certification changes relative to the practice of pharmacy across FHPS in order to maintain FHPS home infusion, retail and specialty pharmacy business in accordance with departmental standards, internal and external reporting requirements, accreditation standards, and pharmacy laws and regulations. Collaborates with the Director, other managers, supervisors, clinical pharmacists, and pharmacists who are responsible and accountable for decisions affecting successful accreditation(s), compliance with enacted federal and state rules and regulations and CMS Conditions of Participation. Participates in the development of policies and procedures related to applicable pharmacy accreditation standards and compliance with federal and state rules and regulations. Additionally, this individual will support the Coordinator and Directors of all FHPS Residency Programs and coordinate all learner experiences across FHPS in collaboration with operational leadership. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to ensure optimal team member clinical comfort and confidence. The individual will support other efforts as assigned regarding medication utilization needs, team and community engagement activities, various FHPS committees and/or staffing.EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:Completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency and a minimum of three years of relevant pharmacy practice experience; or Completed ASHP-accredited PGY1 and PGY2 residencies and a minimum of one year of relevant pharmacy practice experience; or Has a minimum of five years of relevant pharmacy practice experience if they have not completed an ASHP-accredited residency. A minimum of one year of outpatient pharmacy or three years of other pharmacy experience is preferred. Active membership in the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (PSW) is preferred. Active membership in American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and/or other national Pharmacy organizations, as approved by Pharmacy Administration is preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:Bachelor's or Pharm. D. degree from an ACPE certified school of pharmacy is required. Successful completion of ASHP Pharmacy Practice or Community Pharmacy is preferred.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:Contribution to pharmacy practice. Ongoing participation in drug policy or other committees/workgroups of the organization or enterprise. Ongoing professional engagement. Modeling and creating an environment that promotes outstanding professionalism.
