
Project Manager - Event Technology Operations

- Manage the end-to-end delivery of event technology solutions for multiple events, ensuring high-quality execution and alignment with customer experience goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including commercial teams, event directors, and technical partners, to understand event requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Apply Agile methodologies to manage scope, timelines, and deliverables across concurrent workstreams.
- Ensure platform and partner configuration is completed accurately and on schedule, managing handoffs across functional teams.
- Ability to identify risk and escalate as appropriate.
- Keen eye for detail, ensure QA and UAT for all deliverables
- Serve as a key point of contact for assigned projects, maintaining visibility across all elements of the event technology journey.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery playbooks, project workflows, and best practices to support scalability and consistency.
- Participate in planning sessions and retrospectives to optimize delivery across the portfolio.
- Balance BAU needs and advocacy to align with One Informa initiatives, provide oversight and representation of the commercial event tech best practices to senior stakeholders across event operations, TSS and commercial teams.
- Provide clear and timely updates to internal stakeholders and partners, proactively flagging risks or dependencies.
- Support stakeholder education by sharing platform capabilities, use cases, and insights from previous events.

- Support onsite delivery, including platform setup, IT coordination, and post-event wrap-up and analysis.
- CAPM or PMP, or equivalent cert is an advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of the event lifecycle, event operations, and digital platforms used across trade shows and exhibitions.
- Experience managing multiple projects or events simultaneously, with attention to detail and effective prioritization.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in complex, high-stakes scenarios.
- Comfortable working in an Agile delivery model with fast-moving priorities and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to travel occasionally (up to 25%) to support onsite execution.
