Travel LPN Job Details
- Job Title: Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Long Term Care
- Location: Gillette, WY 82716 (Wyoming healthcare jobs)
- Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility / Long Term Care
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 9/15/2025 End: 12/15/2025)
- Patient Demographics: Adults ages 30s90s with conditions such as dementia, diabetes, Alzheimers, coronary artery disease, stroke, Huntingtons disease, and more
- Facility Size: 160-bed capacity
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,360 - $1,460
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Wyoming or compact state (LPN jobs in Wyoming)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent MedSurg or geriatric nursing experience
- IV Certification preferred
- Flexibility to work all shifts and weekends as needed
- Professional appearance: Navy blue scrubs required; tattoos and piercings must comply with facility policy
- Deliver skilled nursing care to long-term care residents, including medication administration, IV therapy, feeding tubes, wound care, trach and ostomy care, and restorative therapies
- Manage a caseload of up to 20 residents per shift (may increase if medication aides are available)
- Utilize computerized charting (Meditech) and medication administration systems (MedRight)
- Collaborate with certified nurse aides and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Participate in orientation and ongoing training to ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures
- Work in all neighborhoods of the facility to meet staffing needs
