
Scientific Manager, COA Implementation, Patient Centered Solutions

- Manage and contribute to the execution of PCSI client projects, in the timely delivery of client deliverables and presentations; from project kick off until close
- Provide oversight tracking and monitoring of project progress
- Plan, organize and manage resources (internal and external) and delivery timelines to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure alignment with broader sponsor study scope and milestones
- Adhere to established processes and SOPs to deliver high-quality services and deliverables
- Develop client relationships through face-to-face discussions, telephone, and email contact
- Ensure clear communication throughout projects and within the team
- Support the development of guidelines, best practices, and lessons learned for use on future engagements
- Provide direction, advice and intellectual leadership to clients and delivery teams focused on eCOA implementation and patient experience data (PED) quality
- Support development of proposals
- Demonstrate and build content area knowledge and keep abreast of key issues and current developments within the industry related to PED and COAs
- Contribute to thought leadership and scientific research activities related to COA implementation, including publications, external presentations, and marketing activities
- Help shape the PCS-I team’s methodology and approaches for client engagements and collaboration with other relevant IQVIA teams and functions
- Train and mentor junior team members in both project management skills as well as content area knowledge in patient engagement and experience
- Contribute to internal strategic and operational initiatives related to PCSI business area
- An advanced degree in a relevant discipline e.g., biological sciences, public health, epidemiology, psychology, sociology, health economics
- Strong experience working in roles related to COA/PRO development, strategy, and implementation; preferably with experience related to eCOA/ePRO
- At least 5 years of experience in scientific consulting, research, or delivery of eCOA within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry
- Ability to rapidly understand new scientific content and to engage meaningfully with clients and project teams
- Excellent organization and project management skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presentations, leading meetings, external conference presentations, workshop facilitation, and report writing
- Fluent conversational and business English (written and oral); additional languages an advantage
