- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, tuggers, banding machines, and air pack fill machines.

- Utilize troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date service and replacement data files for all equipment and machinery.
- Act as a liaison for procurement of service contracts and repair work; assist in purchasing facility fixtures and equipment as needed.
- Communicate the need for major repairs or upgrades to lighting, heating, ventilation, and other essential systems to the appropriate manager.
- Respond promptly to facility maintenance and repair issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Recommend upgrades to maintenance operations and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, taking corrective action as necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Demonstrate a high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations.
- Prepare required reports and correspondence related to maintenance activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Maintenance Mechanic, Facilities Maintenance Technology, or a related field required.
- One to two years of related experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical knowledge (i.e. degree, certification, or other professional standing) proficient in both mechanical and electrical systems maintenance, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Prior experience with operating forklifts and mechanical elevated work platforms. Must be previously certified or willing and able to obtain certification.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and industrial machinery.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in industrial environments. Must be able to identify and prioritize correcting hazards in the workplace.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance management software.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with good judgment and ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of various teams.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
- Proven ability to manage and oversee various contractors and vendors.
