Job Category: Information TechnologyJob Description:Pella Corporation seeks a full-time Sr. Business Analyst - Finance. Telecommuting available from anywhere in US. HQ at Pella, IA. Responsible for working with internal business partners and external resources to provide Finance/IT application systems that enable functional processes. System-wide responsibility on Finance/IT projects; provides subject matter expertise to solve functionally sophisticated problems; and provides direction to team members and coaching to junior level employees. Specific duties include: 1) supporting current business systems including issue identification and resolution, functional performance monitoring and tuning, and disaster recovery capability to meet business objectives leveraging both user feedback and internal metrics to drive improvement; 2) analyzing business requirements, developing design, managing configuration and integration, and providing direction to support resources on new system implementations, current system upgrades and business process changes, and CI initiatives, with work to be reviewed with Sr. Analyst or manager; 3) involvement in all aspects of Pella's Financials and Information Technology from the design and implementation of processes to the day to day support; 4) serving as liaison between the finance user group and appropriate IT groups, and advocating for finance group with regard to the financial applications and integrated systems (Oracle E-Business Suite, OneStream, Great Plains, Vertex, Anaplan, FeneTech, PrefSuite, Paradigm); 5) working closely with managers, other IT implementation teams, and business customers to fulfill project goals; 6) creating an environment of cooperation and teamwork that supports the identification and timely completion of projects; 7) supervising support resources, coordinating testing scenarios, and managing customer relationships in assigned areas; 8) supporting day to day activities with strong troubleshooting skills and including on-call rotation; 9) identifying\implementing process improvements and automation opportunities; 10) participating in defining financial systems strategy, including choice of appropriate tool set, and participating in the phases of the system evolution including business requirements gathering to functional and technical specifications and analysis, configuration, testing, and implementation of Oracle and training; 11) supporting management through ad hoc data collecting, reporting, analysis, and special projects; 12) utilizing the following tools and technologies: reporting tools, including Power BI and XML Publisher; Oracle E-Business Modules; Oracle Finance Modules: GL, Receivables, Payables, Cost Management, Tax, Cash Management, and XML Publisher; Oracle Support and SR creation; Oracle applications modules and high level database structure; Oracle queries; and PL\SQL code.Qualifications:This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation. Must have five years of demonstrated experience with all of the following: 1) Defining business and technical requirements by working with stakeholders across different financial domains that enable functional processes. 2) Analyzing finance and IT requirements, developing design, managing configuration and integration, and providing direction to support resources on new system implementations, current system upgrades and business process changes. 3) Serving as liaison between the finance user groups and appropriate IT groups and advocating for finance group with regard to the financial applications and integrated systems. 4) Managing projects and relationships with business stakeholders and IT implementation teams to fulfill enterprise initiatives. 5) Perform current state and future state assessments, prepare business and functional architecture blueprints, application rationalization and target architecture, and business case development. 6) Identifying\implementing process improvements and automation opportunities in financial domains.
