- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance highly desirable or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of automotive retail management experience
- Valid driver’s license and insurable

- Supervise the ordering of merchandise, based on the objectives established
- Work directly with sales staff to facilitate a highly professional approach to each client interaction
- Sets clear vision and goals for the store to achieve targeted performance in all areas
- Ensure compliance with consumer disclosure laws applicable to financial product and service providers, including Truth in Lending Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Rees-Levering Motor Vehicle Sales & Finance Act, and California’s Vehicle Leasing Act
- Engage and motivate team members to achieve key goals and performance expectations
- Safeguard the confidentiality of customer information by compliance with federal and state privacy and data protection laws, including Fair Credit Reporting Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Fair & Accurate Credit Transactions Act, and Red Flags Rule
- Structure deals to maximize both sales and finance profitability, including educating and training sales team in presentation of the deal and subsequent handover to the F&I dept.
- Developing and maintaining productive relationships with manufacturers
- Educate and train sales team to facilitate a highly professional approach to customer interactions related to initial greeting, deal structure, vehicle delivery, and subsequent follow-up on each deal
- Analyzing the business to determine shortfalls and developing action plans to improve performance
- Driving the business through a high level of involvement in the day-to-day operations
- Analyze local market conditions, demographic situation, and history of previous sales
- Work with Marketing team to manage and develop the media plan and various advertising and promotional campaigns
- Supervise and analyze lease renewal activities to make the lease portfolio turn a profit
- Build and maintain close relations with representatives of the manufacturers and financial branches
- Handle customer complaints in such a way to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Maintain an enthusiastic attitude to build positive employee attitudes and morale
- Ensure that the appropriate safety measures are applied to all O’GARA facilities and ensure they are well lit and professional in appearance
- Keeps up to date on all manufacturer’s current product, program, and promotional novelties
- Explain the policies and procedures of O’GARA to all employees and certify that these are understood and followed
- Perform other tasks based on management requirements and instructions
