This position is 100% on sight in Bossier City, LA.HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Contributes to completion of major engineering programs and projects
  • Assists in solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems
  • Assists in highly complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
  • Assists in overseeing highly complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools, Firewalls, Switches
  • Performs highly complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
  • Performs continual maintenance and provides highly complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems
  • Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
  • Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology and works with management to evolve current processes
  • May provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
  • May serve as a team or task lead

Required Experience: BA/BS degree and 8+ years of related experience additional years can be considered in lieu of degreeRequired Technical Skills:Software: scripting (bash, tcsh, Java Script, Python)Operating Systems: Linux (must), WindowsOther Skills: Networking, Firewalls, Switches, Systems Integration, Security (IPSEC), agile experience, GitLab

The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
