
Executive Assistant to the President

- Assist in carrying out the office operation responsibilities for the President, up to and including travel arrangements, email correspondence, and managing the Presidents appointments and calendar.
- Act as a liaison and provide support to the Board of Trustees. Arrange and handle all logistics for Board meetings and events: schedule meetings; draft agendas; develop, compile, and distribute presentation materials; and record meeting minutes.
- Act with a high degree of independence as the liaison with inside and outside contacts (ie. the Board of Trustees, leaders in the community, and related Committees) and in preparing meeting materials, minutes, programs, updates, recruiting, and other support functions related to work area.
- Coordinates various events, including high profiled and special events and functions either virtual or in person for the University. Welcome all guests by greeting them in a professional manner, in person or on the phone.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and relate to all levels of executives, including internal and external individuals.
- Must have a positive energy that portrays confidence, stability, and calmness while working through situations that may require immediate action, urgent matters, and important events.
- The ability to represent the University and the Office of the President in a positive light through great follow-through skills and sound judgment.
- Experience working in Higher Ed, which is a plus and not mandatory.
- Experience working with BOX software, which is a plus and is not mandatory. We are willing to provide training to the ideal candidate.
- Experience working with a board of directors in some format is highly recommended.
