Type: Full-timeAbout the ClientA Series-D semiconductor innovator specializing in programmable coherent DSP solutions for AI and cloud data centres, recently funded at $180MM and backed by top venture investors.Position OverviewJoin as a VLSI Design Engineer/Micro-architect to design cutting-edge communication systems from the ground up, collaborating closely with algorithm and architecture teams.Key Responsibilities
- Translate high-level algorithmic requirements into efficient hardware designs.
- Implement protocols (e.g., Ethernet 100G+) in RTL using Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL.
- Lead micro-architecture development, RTL coding, synthesis, and timing optimization.
- Collaborate with verification, DFT, and physical design teams.
- Participate in design reviews and debug functional/timing issues.
- Optimize designs for area, power, and performance.
- Support IP/SoC integration and silicon bring-up if needed.
- Stay current with EDA tools and methodologies.
- 5+ years in ASIC/FPGA design with strong Verilog/SystemVerilog skills.
- Experience with protocols, DSP blocks, and advanced design practices (Clock/Voltage domain crossing, DFT, Low Power).
- Familiarity with Ethernet (100G+) and scripting (Python, Perl, TCL).
- BS/MS in EE/CE from leading institutions.
