- Serve as the internal and external champion for liquid cooling technologies, acting as a subject matter expert and advocate across the organization and partner network.
- Design and deliver structured training programs for internal teams, external customers, and suppliers to ensure consistent and accurate understanding of Castrol’s liquid cooling solutions.
- Lead technical workstreams from idea generation through to offer launch (e.g. sensors). Support rapid testing and agile development cycles. Contribute insights and ideas based on technological advancements and evolving customer needs.
- Establish feedback loops with key customers, suppliers, and partners to gather insights, identify struggles, and inform continuous improvement of our liquid cooling offer.
- Develop and manage product-related technical documentation, including protocols, specifications, and externally shareable materials (e.g., product liability/warranty, technical datasheets).
- Apply technical insights in support of profitable, scalable growth. Help align technical offerings with long-term business and market objectives while continuously building and applying your own commercial acumen.
- Advanced application support to maintain excellent fluid performance
- Resolves technical problems regarding fluid product performance in order to protect the company against unfounded litigation
- Actively assist sales teams in resolving technical issues from the use of products in a timely manner to ensure the company reputation for quality is reinforced, visiting customers to resolve problems when required
- Support technical knowledge empowerment to the field force through helping with the technical training to sales teams, customers and distributors related to product deployment and implementation
- Responsible for the ownership of the technical service offer and implement the Ethics & Code of Conduct, HSSE policies and system (training, safety audit for CMS) that are introduced and ensure that the subordinate understands such policies and enforce to them
- Degree level or equivalent professional qualifications/ experience
- A degree qualified (or similar) in chemistry or engineering and possess a depth of relevant experience gained from working on relevant IT technologies.
- A natural curiosity and desire to explore new possibilities.
- Ability to thrive in operating at the interfaces of chemistry, electrical engineering, IT, fluid dynamics and mechanical engineering to develop optimal environmental performance for data center operations by creating and exploiting unique technologies. This opens possibilities to design truly unique solutions that exploit the synergies between the IT hardware and the fluids.
- Effective at building and maintaining strategic partnerships. Good at interacting with customers when leading projects with internal partners, 3rd parties and data center OEM's.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and/or data center operations.
- Take the lead and proactively supporting the team’s Agile ways of working.
- Strong technical competencies while continuously building and developing your commercial acumen to bridge the gap between technology and market value
- Experience working with marketing teams for the development of technology strategies, offers and for exploring new business is preferred
- Must be proficient in English
