- Design and integrate APIs (REST, gRPC) for network management and orchestration platforms.
- Ensure seamless communication between network devices and OSS/BSS systems.
- Troubleshoot API issues using logs, traces, and network captures.
- Integrate third-party and in-house tools with OSS/BSS and telemetry platforms.
- Collaborate with hardware/software teams to align solutions with operational workflows.
- Develop scripts/tools to automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
- Integrate with orchestration tools like Ansible.
- Use monitoring platforms (e.g., OpenText NNMi, SolarWinds, Zabbix) to track LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless performance.
- Design dashboards and support performance/capacity issue resolution.
- API networking and integration across platforms
- Python or similar scripting (preferred)
- Network management platform experience
- Basic networking (IP, LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls)
- Familiarity with router/device managers and SIM/IoT portals
- KPI reporting and system analytics
- Integrate data flows across OSS/BSS, LAN managers, IoT/SIM platforms, and internal systems
- Develop and test new features and provider services
- Support RCA efforts for major outages and service degradation
- Build performance and capacity monitoring for LAN/WAN
- Maintain documentation and serve as a point of contact
- Support production and non-production environments
- Generate SLA reports via OSS/BSS
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on deployments
- Provide feedback on API design and manage API lifecycle (versioning, deprecation)
- Communication: Able to translate technical updates for both technical and business audiences

- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience are considered in lieu of degree.
- Hybrid work environment (50% in office) with Rhode Island based office.
- Basic understanding of routers, switches, routing protocols (BGP), VPNs, VLANs, encrypted tunnels, encryption technology, and wireless technology.
- Knowledge of various network management protocols like (SNMP, NETFLOW, BGPMON, etc.)
- Experience with network automation (Ansible), scripting (Python, Bash)
- Knowledge of OSS/BSS systems and performance management tools
- Strong understanding of API's and programming skills
- Strong understanding of network management platforms and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to interface with team and the customer.
- Deep technical knowledge working across multiple applications, operating systems and devices required.
- Monitor changing management technology and deliver a technology update to management as required.
