
Cold Box Pressure Vessel and Piping Engineer

- You will be involved in multiple areas of design, engineering, fabrication and construction from proposal to implementation at existing ASU sites.
- Serve as a technical expert within the organization regarding Cold Box Flexibility Analysis and ASME B31.3 Requirements, Pressure Vessel Design, Cryogenic Pipe Sizing, Routing, and Inputs into P&ID.
- You will prepare and Approve Cold Box Design Analysis Calculations, Fabrication Drawings, Approve Shop and Field Pressure Test Drawings.
- Prepare and Approve Third Party Aftermarket Spare Parts fabrication drawings, Specifications, Inspection and Test Plans, and resolve any fabrication issues.
- Complete technical approval of MOC's for welding, NDE, testing for repair and modifications of vessels and piping.
- Additionally, you will support on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, project timelines, and resolving any technical issues.
- Also, you will collaborate closely with supporting departments including Operations, Reliability, and Plant Design Engineering
- You will have a BS in Engineering, BSME preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in or any combination of cold box engineering, ASU plant design engineering, or equipment engineering, other ranges of experience will be considered
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage and prioritize work with minimal direction
- You are able to make technical decisions based on feasibility, cost, and system integration
- You are innovative in developing, selecting, and implementing engineered solutions to solve difficult problems
- You can communicate effectively, including excellent writing and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Cold Box Experience
- Knowledge of Linde design guidelines and engineering standards including legacy Praxair standards
- Knowledge of design Codes and Standards, including ASME, ASTM, ANSI
