We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Kingsport, TN team! In this role you will get to be a part of a team designing facilities of the future.What You'll Be Doing:
  • Designing electrical and communication systems
  • Designing lightning protection systems
  • Perform all required design calculations including lighting, load and arc-flash/short-circuit analysis
  • Coordinating between disciplines
  • Perform site visits to gather design data
  • Work with a team of electrical engineers and designers
  • Provide senior-level leadership to mentor junior level engineers
  • Pursue licensure in other states to support department and company growth
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Professional engineer license is required (or current FE working towards PE).
  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
  • 8+ years experience.
  • Experience with design of building electrical and telecommunication systems
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • CAD/Revit experience is a plus
  • SKM/ETAP experience is a plus
  • Advanced degree is a plus
  • RCDD certification is a plus
