Entry Level Systems Engineer

- Candidate will develop and maintain standardized, testable requirements based on customer and collaborator input.
- Candidate will be responsible for testing and documentation associated with developing software applications.
- Candidate will be responsible for familiarizing themself with cloud-based infrastructure and tooling.
- Candidate will perform demonstrations and interface with customers to ensure product meets end customer goals.
- Candidate will support software development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Position Location: Huntsville, AL
- CONUS Travel required: Less than 20%
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Active Secret Clearance preferred. Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance prior to start.
- Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or the hard sciences
- 0 to 3 years of experience required.
- Candidate must be a team player and be creative, adaptive, and excited to learn.
- Candidate must have experience with technical writing.
- Candidate must have experience (academic or professional) developing requirements and test plans.
- Candidate must have familiarity with Agile Scrum development methodology and associated tools.
- Familiarity with documentation tools such as Texmaker and PlantUML.
- Have familiarity with a configuration management software tool.
- Experience supporting field demonstrations.
- Familiarity with basic networking and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Familiarity with drones and/or RC Planes, boats, or ground vehicles.
- Familiarity with web development.

- Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
