- Assist in supporting PEO Aviation and UHPO core systems including the UH-60 Black Hawk and UH-72 Light Utility Helicopter (LUH).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assist in the analysis, design, testing, and integration of rotary wing aircraft systems and subsystems.
- Provide support in the development of technical documentation, including Technical data packages, Reports and presentations, Systems requirements and specifications, Acquisition strategies, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Assist with data analysis, test planning, and evaluation to ensure system performance and compliance with specifications.
- Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts in the lifecycle of rotary wing aircraft programs.
- Participate in the application of Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) principles to optimize system interoperability and lifecycle sustainability.
- Provide technical input and recommendations to senior engineers and program management in support of program objectives.
- Assist in the creation and tracking of project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- Understanding of basic systems engineering principles and processes.
- Familiarity with technical documentation and reporting (requirements, specifications, technical data packages).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Coursework or internship experience related to PEO Aviation or UHPO core systems.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and/or MOSA principles.
- Knowledge of aviation systems or experience working with military aviation platforms.
- Active U.S. DoD Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
