
Client Solutions Trust Administrator - Private Wealth

- Oversees client relationships and administers transactions on an assigned book of trust accounts
- Develops internal and external business networks to identify opportunities to enhance the profitability of the trust book of business, when applicable
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of client objectives, and develops customized solutions based upon subject matter expertise
- Understands unique, complex trust agreements and appropriately manages accounts in compliance with Regions capacity and legal and regulatory guidelines.
- Manages the set-up, implementation, and administration of trusts, IRAs, and IMAs, ensuring account administration follows fiduciary principles
- Conducts Annual Administrative and Compliance Reviews for clients
- Coordinates client service activities with other areas of the organization
- Determines the financial viability and associated risks of client business
- Leads client pre-call planning meetings & client meetings.
- Participates in book of business reviews
- Understands multi- state specific trust statutes
- Demonstrates solid knowledge and understanding of Regions’ products and services, including retirement, investment management, and charitable giving
- Supplies Portfolio Managers with documentation for Annual Investment reviews
- Facilitates the non-discretionary and discretionary distribution process, communicating with partners when necessary
- Handles annual tax coordination, fee set up, and daily cash management
- Ensures all accounts comply with applicable internal programs and procedures, to include fiduciary principles
- May participate in technology projects and process pilots to enhance innovation for the team or Wealth Management
- Coordinates administrative functions with attorneys, co-trustees, investment advisors, and CPAs
- Ensures client activity is appropriately documented in OneView
- May review accounts for potential transition from Private Wealth Management to Client Solutions.
- Ensures appropriate management of trust account assets, with an awareness to future potential depletion
- Remains abreast with industry trends to ensure prudent administration and investment management
- Performs duties in compliance with Corporate and Private Wealth Management Program Documents and Procedures and all applicable external regulations
- High School Diploma and one (1) year of Trust or closely related experience
- Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- Experience in Trust Administration and Institutional/Retirement Services Administration
- Experience in Transactions including GST, 65-day elections, LLC’s and Partnerships, Decantings or Modifications, and 5/5 Powers
- Experience with Trust accounting
- Familiarity with governing/applicable laws and regulations
- Professional designations and/or certifications
- Customer service skills
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
