- Collaborating with project managers, senior engineers, and designers to design HVAC systems for healthcare, academic, and corporate research facilities
- Designing energy-efficient HVAC systems, reviewing drawings for technical accuracy, and conducting load calculation analysis and energy modeling
- Supporting project managers with proposal development, client management, and overall project execution
- Performing site surveys, attending pre-bid meetings, and providing field construction support as needed
- Successfully implementing objectives and ensuring all projects meet budgets, client desires, and industry regulations
- Guiding less experienced engineers during projects and implementing development programs to support their growth

- BS in mechanical engineering
- Professional engineer (PE) license OR currently working towards licensure
- 5+ years of professional, progressive experience in the US (preferably in the Tri-State area) in designing mechanical or HVAC systems for laboratory or critical care facilities
- Experience using load analysis and energy modeling programs (eQUEST, Trane TRACE, ENERGY STAR, Carrier HAP, etc.)
- Experience executing and implementing a design project with Autodesk AutoCAD or Revit
- Experience in building information modeling (BIM)
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and national codes, including NFPA and Joint Meeting
- Ability to prepare presentations and explain technical information in simple terms
- Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
