Apply today and unlock your potential!THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE AS AN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERThis is a full-time, on-site position working Monday through Friday.When you join our team as an Electrical Engineer, you'll dive into the design of grid-connected power generation systems-developing single line diagrams, preparing interconnection applications, and collaborating with the Director of Electrical Engineering. You'll coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, create equipment specifications, and review technical submittals. Your day may include electrical studies such as load flow, short circuit, relay coordination, and arc flash analysis, along with equipment layout and cable routing. You'll also develop protection/control diagrams, support field construction activities, review submittals and drawings, respond to contractor inquiries, and conduct site surveys-all to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality solutions for every project.OUR IDEAL ELECTRICAL ENGINEERWe're looking for an engineering professional who can meet the following qualifications:
  • BS in Engineering
  • 5-10 years professional experience in the US (preferably in the Tri-State area) with proven progression in engineering, particularly in power, distributed generation, or related field
  • Registered and active Professional Engineering license
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
  • Experience in executing multi-discipline projects utilizing AutoCad or Revit programs
  • Experience with grid interconnection for engines, turbines, solar, and battery storage
  • Knowledge of HV/MV substation and switchgear design for grid connection
  • Proficiency in electrical modeling software (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, or HOMER)
  • Understanding of electrical studies: load flow, short circuit, arc flash, relay coordination, etc.
  • Ability to relay and meter configuration/programming along with multidisciplinary project management and coordination experience
  • Strong time management and adaptability to deadlines
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
  • Fluent in English (read, write, speak, understand)
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without the need for sponsorship
