  • Licensed as a Nurse in the state of Arkansas
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • 2 years licensed nursing experience
  • Current certification in CPR and First Aid Training with AHA or Red Cross
Requirements:
  • Pass a State Police Criminal Background Check and a DHS Child Maltreatment Background Check
  • Cost approximately $35 (self pay)
Salary: Based on salary schedule for RN or LPN.Location: Any campus Nurses Office as needed.Reports to: Building Principal and District NurseSpecific Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assumes responsibility for appropriate assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, management and referral of students.
  • Provides for the promotion and maintenance of health and the prevention of injuries and illness.
  • Responsible for the direct and indirect care of students in compliance with the school district policies, professional standards of practice, physician orders, and the Individual Health Care Plan.
  • Functions in accordance with the Arkansas Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the school district’s policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for the Health Services Office, administering all medications, first aid, student care, forms and reports.
