This position will require nurses to attend staff meetings, periodic trainings, etc.On-siteLocationPlant 3555 McKee Drive, Gentry AR 72734Job SummaryMcKee Foods is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Health Service Department team. Under the supervision of an RN, the LPN provides nursing services to employees of McKee Foods Corporation and its affiliates and first aid to others who become ill or injured on the premises. Assists with management of Workers Compensation claims and with health-related programs.
  • Working as liaison with the safety department
  • Administering drug/alcohol tests as necessary
  • Conducting pre-employment physicals and drug screens
  • Coordinating and participating in various health and wellness programs
  • Securing medical files and maintaining HIPAA compliance
  • Providing first aid treatment
  • Workers’ Compensation case management
  • Conducts walkthrough in the plant
  • Documents all aspects of care in nurses’ notes
Required Qualifications
  • Must be licensed to in practice in Arkansas and have at least one year of experience
  • CPR certified
  • Possess strong organization skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
  • Customer service oriented
  • Must have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations and handle frequent interruptions
Preferred Qualifications
  • One or more years of job experience as LPN
  • Computer proficiency desired
