
Aerospace Methods Engineer

- Work in collaboration with the production department, the aircraft methods support group and the engineering department in our client´s manufacturing centers to analyze requests in order to find technological solutions that will improve assembly performance;
- Collaborate with Structural Assemblers to enhance assembly techniques.
- Develop and implement efficient methods for structural assembly.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Interpret drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
- Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
- Define the tools necessary for the fabrication or assembly of aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing.
- Coordinate the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working closely with the engineering, materials logistics, quality, and production departments.
- You have 5+ years experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment;
- You have in depth experience of aircraft structural assembly processes.
- You are comfortable reading technical drawings and have good 3D visualization and analytical skills;
- You are familiar with Catia V5 and/or NX drafting software (an asset);
- You have excellent teamwork skills, are recognized for your perseverance and judgment;
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Must possess a Green Card or be a U.S. citizen with VALID USA PASSPORT ( possibility of traveling to Queretaro, Mexico)
- Willingness to work in Querétaro, Mexico for 10 weeks.
