
Aerospace Process Engineer

- Analyze and validate the current MBOM.
- Identify and address any discrepancies, and align it with the site manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate with design, planning, and logistics to ensure BOM accuracy.
- Evaluate existing tooling in the local facility for transfer feasibility.
- Identify additional tooling needs and manage procurement or redesign as necessary.
- Define tooling setup, storage, and maintenance plans for the new site.
- Review and tailor Red Oak’s work instructions and workbooks for local implementation.
- Ensure documentation is adapted to local standards and languages.
- Collaborate with quality and operations to validate all process instructions.
- Design the lean production layout and assembly flow for the new site line.
- Develop standard work documentation, takt time calculations, and line balancing.
- Lead simulations and dry runs to validate operational readiness.
- Serve as the technical lead for all IBF industrialization activities.
- Ensure effective knowledge transfer and coordination with local teams.
- Facilitate workshops, Kaizen events, and risk reviews to support project success.
- Guarantee compliance with aerospace standards and internal quality systems.
- Develop and maintain KPIs, reports, and risk mitigation strategies throughout the transfer.
- You have 5+ years experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment;
- You have in depth experience of aircraft structural assembly processes.
- You are comfortable reading technical drawings and have good 3D visualization and analytical skills;
- You are familiar with Catia V5 and/or NX drafting software (an asset);
- You have excellent teamwork skills, are recognized for your perseverance and judgment;
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
