This will be a hybrid position based in San Francisco or Atlanta.The Finance & IT function works to accelerate business growth through ensuring that the company's operations run efficiently and effectively, ultimately enabling the achievement of company goals.You will be a key contributor to our growing corporate and strategic finance team. Your key objectives will be to support and improve processes that provide meaningful insights for decision-making, and to partner with finance and business leadership to identify and monitor progress against our strategic objectives.What will I be accountable for?Lead the end-to-end planning process including long-term modeling, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting; enhance process for evaluating investment decisions and resource allocation.Define key metrics and develop tools to monitor and forecast the health of the business; develop a narrative connecting operational and financial results to business strategies and goals.Interview internal customers and end-users to identify, articulate, and templatize their needs.Assist in the consolidation of quarter end results and analysis; Support the preparation of various reporting packages to management including the audit committee, CFO and CEO.Analyze and summarize financial data to provide a concise and meaningful narrative discussion of variances for quarterly reporting, forecasting, and budgeting to the business leadership team as well as finance leadership team.Proactively identify system and process improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness and propose solutions to complex/ambiguous problems.Establish strong lines of communication within the finance team and with business partners to raise issues and provide insight for decision making.Regularly check-in with internal customers for feedback.Job RequirementsWhat skills, experience, and qualifications do I need?3 - 4 years of relevant experienceDemonstrable experience in partnering with business, roles in public accounting and/or corporate finance.Ability to manage, align and balance the demands and expectations of the business and corporate function requires close collaborations with various stakeholders.Proficient in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint), and other analytical applications. Experience with SAP systems (specifically SAP BPC) and PowerBI a plusAttitudeEnthusiastic, dedicated approach to business partnering - looking to contribute at every opportunity.Independent self-starter who is motivated by developing relationships, automation to create space for value-add activities.Personal dedication to actively analyze data to identify risks/opportunities for your business.Curiosity to understand the business and specific concerns and focus areas of individual business groups.Ability to deal with ambiguity, be comfortable creating ways of working and bringing structure to the way that others work.InfluenceBuild strong relationships and credibility with both finance and non-finance partners.Strong character able to build relationships with partners but also remain independent, challenging as much as supporting.Effective influencing non-finance partners using financial analysis & insight.Analysis / InsightCombines financial and business insight to drive forward understanding of business performance.Confident building financial models to support investment cases and business decision-making.Communicate and present complex analysis/concepts in a simple and concise way.Agile when required to get into the detail and work with data to produce analysis.The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $117,700 - $141,500, which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
