This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.Responsibilities:Lead systems engineering processes across the full development life cycle:Requirements analysis, definition, allocation, and managementFunctional and performance analysisSystem architecture development and design decompositionInterface definition and controlIntegration, verification, and validation planning and executionConduct detailed trade studies, architecture evaluations, and technical risk assessmentsCollaborate with the Chief Engineer, program leadership, and cross-disciplinary teams to drive critical design decisionsSupport DoD cyber, environmental, and hardware/software qualification activitiesSupport testing strategy development, system acceptance testing, and failure investigationsAct as a technical mentor and lead for engineering teams, ensuring alignment with project milestones, cost, and schedule targetsDevelop and present technical material to internal stakeholders and U.S. government customersQualifications:
U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related field (Science, Engineering, or Mathematics)8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6+ yearsAbility to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance (preferred to be active at hire)Demonstrated background in systems engineering or test engineering, with project leadership experience * Preferred Experience:Underwater vehicle developmentTorpedo guidance & control systemsEmbedded software and FPGA-based hardware development and qualificationDoD project execution including Cybersecurity and Environmental ComplianceDevelopment of common system architectures, standard interfaces (MOSA), and change controlFull life cycle systems engineering from concept to deliveryTest plan development, test execution, and issue resolutionTrade study formulation and evaluationRisk and opportunity managementCost, schedule, and resource estimationMoseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.Still have questions?
