- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer on fundraising strategy and new programming.
- Work closely with leadership and program teams to develop new concepts for funding and create proposals.
- Support the Executive Director on donor cultivation, networking, and communication, including thought leadership strategy.
- Craft compelling impact stories for donors, in coordination with the marketing and communications team.
- Lead day-to-day donor team internal operations, including setting up new systems and processes to scale impact, managing donor stewardship calendar, grant reporting timelines, and assigning and overseeing donor team tasks.
- Build trust-based relationships with current donors, including drafting grant reports and correspondence.
- 7+ years of nonprofit, foundation, or communications work experience, including 3+ years of experience in development and/or grants management from a recipient or donor perspective.
- Significant experience writing or reviewing foundation grant proposals and creating compelling impact stories.
- Experience contributing to fundraising or grant-making strategy.
- A track record of learning new areas of programmatic content quickly.
- Ability to direct teams with multiple priorities and projects; create structure and processes for others; and leverage strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excited to help organize others’ work.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Base salary range: $85,000-$100,000 with an up to 10% annual merit bonus.
