A list of coursework must be submitted with the application.Substitution: One (1) additional year of qualifying experience may substitute the education requirement.EXPERIENCE:Real Property Agent IIOPTION 1: Three (3) years of full-time professional commercial real estate experience in at least one or a combination of the following areas: real property acquisition, commercial leasing, or property management in the public or private sector.OPTION 2: Two (2) years as a with San Bernardino County or a comparable public agency.Real Property Agent IIIOPTION 1: Four (4) years of full-time professional commercial real estate experience in at least one or a combination of the following areas: real property acquisition, commercial leasing, or property management; must include one year of qualifying experience in a public agency or representing public agencies in commercial real estate transactions.OPTION 2: Three (3) years as a with San Bernardino County or in an equivalent or higher-level classification within a comparable public agency.Note:Both Levels: Qualifying experience must be in mixed use, office, industrial, or retail environment. Residential experience is not considered qualifying.Desired QualificationsThe ideal candidates will bring a strong mix of education, technical expertise, and professional experience in real estate, with a proven ability to deliver results in a service-oriented environment.Education: A Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Public or Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related field is highly desirable.Technical Expertise: Experience negotiating and acquiring real property, including work on public projects and eminent domain matters.
