- Recruit, train, and develop your team
- Ensure the highest level of customer care, in line with Danner's values and expectations
- Be responsible for the store's sales, profitability, and payroll budget
- Personally model expectations and hold your team accountable
- Oversee scheduling to ensure projects, service, and systems are all accounted for
- Collaborate with merchandise manager to influence product strategy
- Track and coach staff on achieving expected KPI metrics at individual and store level.
- 5 years retail store management with progressive responsibility preferred
- 2 years supervision experience
- College degree preferred
- Experience with POS
- Experience analyzing financial reports
- MS Office proficiency
- Soft goods merchandising experience
- Experience managing all aspects of a premium retail store, from stock rooms to sales.
- Experience in recruiting, leading, and developing talent.
- Ability to evaluate store environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement
- Provide coaching and direction to the store team to achieve operational goals.
- A natural passion for serving others and creating customer loyalty
- Strong customer empathy with the ability to turn negativity into great customer experiences.
- Ability to manage store operations independently
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast paced environment
- Strong operational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- A calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to a standard and to set a positive example for the store team.
- Experience managing on hand inventory and seasonal planning.
- Desire to plan, identify, communicate, and delegates appropriate responsibilities and practices to store partners to ensure smooth flow of operations
