DescriptionA well-established personal injury and medical malpractice law firm with offices in Melville and NYC is seeking an experienced and driven litigation attorney to join its Melville office. This is a strategic role focused on managing complex cases and maximizing client outcomes. The position comes with a strong support team, including dedicated paralegals and legal assistants.Qualifications

5+ years of litigation experience in personal injury and/or medical malpractice
Admitted to practice in New York
Strong oral advocacy, legal writing, and analytical skills
Proven ability to independently manage a full caseload
Excellent client communication and negotiation skills
Must be able to commute to Melville

Responsibilities

Handle personal injury and medical malpractice matters from intake through resolution
Conduct discovery, depositions, motion practice, and prepare for trial
Participate in court appearances, mediations, and client meetings
Prepare detailed case evaluations and progress reports
Work collaboratively with a senior attorney to deliver optimal outcomes for clients
