The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in litigation procedures, excellent research and writing skills, and a passion for advocacy. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney to gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from seasoned attorneys, and build a rewarding legal career.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial preparation, discovery, motion practice, and trial support.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Participate in client meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and manage case files.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Stay current with developments in the law and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal practices.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • 1-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in port litigation, trial work, insurance coverage, CVA cases, medical malpractice, or asbestos litigation.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Excellent oral advocacy and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
