Civil / Structural Engineer - Youngstown, OH - JOB 25-01408 Salary Range: $60K - $85K Permanent Position with Benefits. In response to a sustained growth in business, an original equipment design and service company is seeking to add a civil/structural engineer to their team. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to generate structural calculations, CAD layouts, and other documentation. This position, which offers the opportunity to work both in-house and, in the field, requires an individual capable of climbing and collecting data from catwalks above the plant floor. REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • P.E. License a plus
  • 4+ years' work experience in Construction, Steel, or heavy industry
  • Minimum 2 years' experience performing structural (Steel and Concrete) design calculations.
  • Experience with foundations, columns, girders, etc.
  • Knowledge of ACAD, AISC, AIST, AWS and concrete and mill building specifications.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience/Knowledge with FEA software (Finite Element Analysis)
  • CAD proficiency and experience with MS Office.
  • There will be about 10% travel required.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods of time and work in the field, shop floor and office setting.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to professionally interact with external/internal stakeholders.
