If you require accommodations or flexibility, please discuss this with the hiring team during the interview process.What does a Creative Lead do at Hogarth?The purpose of this role is to provide leadership, direction, and inspiration in an evolving energetic and passionate team of Creative Content and Production experts. Responsible for all creative operations globally, staff supervision and work production. Directs the activities of creative teams to maintain and improve Hogarth's standards of creative excellence. An experienced presenter and digital storyteller who serves as Agencies and Clients' Creative expert leading strategic efforts.As part of agency's senior management team, the individual will be expected to fully participate and be responsible for senior level decision making, managing cultural connectivity, leading the creative community, morale & momentum across the teams and responsibility for all creative.Our overall mission at Hogarth is to be the number 1 Creative + Production + Innovation company in the world.Reporting lines and key stakeholders:This role reports to the Creative Director, North AmericaYou will work closely with Client, Creative, Studio, Account, Operations, and Agency teamsResponsibilities:
  • Sets an inspirational creative vision and high standards for an evolving fast paced business
  • Understands and champions the thinker/maker culture and can shorten the distance between thinking and making
  • Looks to streamline and innovate processes and product to continually improve our creative offering
  • Responsible for overall digital and traditional creative excellence, including problem solving, creative strategy, quality of creative craft, innovation within creative team, and impact of creative product
  • Provides leadership and direction of the creative process; is the final arbiter of creative excellence for the design teams
  • Responsible for projecting Hogarth's image as a creative center of excellence through participation and success in internal and external awards programs
  • Understanding/awareness of the market aesthetic and culture
  • Understands data led modular activity
  • Partners effectively with all departments to ensure delivery of on-time, high-quality deliverables that address all challenges
  • Master storyteller with the ability to command a room and build strong client relationships
  • Ensures all correspondence, materials, presentations, proposals, etc., seen by prospective and existing partners and clients are of highest quality and always relevant to the client's issues
  • Attract great people
  • Drive and uphold a meticulous standard for all creative work, ensuring exceptional attention to detail and error-free execution from the team to satisfy client requirements
  • Oversee, energize, and inspire the creative department/studio
  • Continually drive growth and new creative opportunities
  • Drives for results by monitoring creative studio utilization, maintaining high utilization and ensuring profitability
People and Team
  • Must be both an empathic and inclusive leader, who values diverse thinking
  • Acts as an inspirational leader for team and internal/external partners (including client/strategy leaders, Agency creatives etc.)
  • Ensures and maintains cross-discipline expertise, by mentoring generalists and specialists alike; breaks down silos and fosters collaboration and sense of community within creative staff
  • Seeks out and identifies opportunities for the team's creative growth and provides ongoing performance evaluations addressing creative quality, client development and profitability, collaboration with other creative leads, and staff development
  • Assists with identifying new talent
  • Connects with senior Opco leaders globally
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in a leadership role mentoring talent in an agency environment; a few of those years as a Creative Lead is required
  • Ability to lead large, digital, and integrated cross-channel campaigns, demonstrating expertise in B2B marketing across digital, print, original, and adaptation work
  • Proven digital storyteller with the ability to understand and articulate a point of view on the distinction between good and great work
  • World-class knowledge of creative production and execution of global campaigns, coupled with strong branding expertise, including building and maintaining brand design systems (look and message), and hands-on experience in web design, video content, and social media management
  • Excellent written/verbal communication & strong presentation skills
  • Portfolio showcasing conceptual and executed work across TV, Digital Innovation, and Traditional campaigns or creative content, with demonstrated knowledge and a point of view on leveraging AI tools to elevate creative processes and output
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams on multiple projects
  • Possess exceptional client facing experience with major global brand
The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
