- Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly of power supplies, PC boards, cable harnesses, modules, and related subassemblies.
- Solder and de-solder through-hole and SMT components using soldering iron and hot-air techniques.
- Read and interpret schematics, drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials to complete assemblies.
- Select, mount, and install electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, transformers, and ICs on panels and PCAs.
- Connect and route wires between components, connectors, and terminals following wiring diagrams.
- Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and microscopes for assembly, inspection, and testing.
- Perform operations such as crimping, riveting, potting, cleaning, epoxy bonding, and trimming components.
- Conduct inspections and basic functional tests to ensure assemblies meet production and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot, rework, and repair defective units as identified during inspection or testing.
- Maintain accurate production records, follow detailed work instructions, and adhere to all safety procedures.
