To learn more, visit .Job DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Assemble, wire, and modify equipment as defined by assembly drawings to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner.
Read and follow blueprints and schematics to assemble equipment
Utilize basic hand tools to complete assembly of equipment
Complete wiring on machine to ensure proper operation
Meet or exceed timelines to ensure on-time delivery to customer
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
QualificationsEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Ability to install and wire electrical control panels
Ability to build the more complex machines that Sealed Air produces (ex. Autoloaders, 8600’s, and verticals)
Ability to read and understand ladder diagrams
Ability to work with engineering to correct problems and develop new designs
Work without direct supervision
Ability to trouble shoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
Basic knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code)
Examples of Assembly Craftsperson 3 work includes: ability to work on any all machines (horizontal and vertical), set up systems for testing purposes, work in lab environments for engineers, and multitask on multiple projects
High school diploma or GED required
Associate degree preferred
