- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of National Account Representatives.
- Oversee account planning, strategy development, and execution across the national account portfolio.
- Serve as a strategic partner to key accounts, maintaining high-level customer relationships and executive engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams including operations, marketing, product, finance, and customer service to deliver customized solutions and exceptional customer experiences.
- Manage complex contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and service level agreements.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics such as revenue, margin, account growth, and customer retention.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and align resources to capitalize on them.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and strategic planning sessions.
- Travel as needed to support account development and team engagement (approximately 30–40%).
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 8–10+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3–5 years leading strategic or national account sales teams.
- Background in transportation, manufacturing, or industrial B2B sectors.
- Experience working with national fleets, leasing companies, or dealer networks.
- Skills:
- Demonstrated success managing complex customer relationships and high-value accounts.
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Proven ability to drive growth while maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Travel: As needed, up to 40%.
- Office and plant environment.
