The company designs, produces and showcases custom made furniture products.POSITION PROFILE:Performs the components sanding and supports assembly of furniture units from a kit of components previously prepared and tailored for fitting.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sand furniture units and or components,
  • Support assemblers of products:
  • Product completion per Production Schedule
  • Meet all critical dimensions and product characteristics.
  • Maintain work station clean, organized and safe.
  • Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required.
  • Maintain the time sheet accurate and on time.
  • Observe all company policies and standard practices.
  • Participate on all required continuous improvement activities.
REQUIRED SKILLSMinimum Qualifications
  • No previous experience of carpentry.
  • Proficient using equipment and hand tools such:
  • Electrical tools: Drill, screw driver, sander.
  • Hand tools.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced team environment while managing multiple projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and flawless results.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels within an organization and be a team member
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or work experience which demonstrates performance competency
