This is a high-impact technical role with the opportunity to shape reliability strategy across multiple production sites.Position Summary:
The Maintenance/Reliability Engineer will provide hands-on engineering support to improve the reliability and performance of rotating and fixed plant equipment. You’ll lead critical programs around vibration analysis, lubrication, and preventive maintenance while supporting maintenance teams with technical direction and troubleshooting expertise.Key Responsibilities:Own and manage the site vibration monitoring and analysis programLead the equipment lubrication program, including vendor oversight and continuous improvementProvide day-to-day engineering support for mechanical maintenance on both rotating and fixed assetsTroubleshoot mechanical issues and analyze equipment failures to identify root causes and corrective actionsSupport the development of job plans, maintenance documentation, and repair standardsTrain and mentor technicians and junior engineers on best practices and reliability methodsAssist in small capital project execution and cost control related to equipment upgrades and modificationsPerform quality and safety audits for mechanical maintenance activitiesInterface with vendors, OEMs, and outside consultants for specialized supportMonitor performance KPIs and work with planners and supervisors to ensure maintenance targets are metQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (required)10–15 years of experience in plant maintenance and reliability engineering within chemical, mineral, pulp & paper, or similar PSM-regulated industries3+ years of hands-on experience with vibration analysis and lubrication programsProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferredProject management experience a plusMust be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the futureBenefits:Competitive base salary ($150K–$160K)$2,500 sign-on bonusFull medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid relocation assistancePaid time off, holidays, and other industry-leading benefits
