They focus on delivering custom Oracle applications that meet critical mission requirements through innovative development solutions and exceptional customer service.Job DescriptionAs a SME Oracle APEX Developer, you will work at the direction of the program manager to support the full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications, primarily using the Oracle APEX toolset. The ideal candidate will be personable and articulate, focusing on ensuring that customer needs are met quickly and effectively.You'll be a self-starter who can work with limited supervision while maintaining excellent communication skills to effectively interface with customers, understand requirements and mission needs, and translate them into actionable development solutions. Your role involves advanced use of Oracle APEX 21 and above, working with Oracle Integrated Development Environments, and designing dynamic web content.The position requires expertise in full lifecycle Oracle application development, including migration strategies from Oracle Forms to scalable web applications, API development, and enterprise-level workflow applications.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications, primarily using the Oracle APEX toolset.Perform advanced use of Oracle APEX 21 and above for application development.Work with Oracle Integrated Development Environments such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer.Design and manipulate web content dynamically using JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.Create dynamic reports within the Oracle APEX environment.Provide support in advanced use of Oracle Database products version 11 and above.Support Oracle database objects including tables, indexes, directories, sequences, triggers, etc.Provide support with PL/SQL, Java, Windows PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting.Work with built-in PLSQL packages and procedures.Support storage, efficient retrieval, and manipulation of unstructured data (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType) in Oracle environment.Integrate and manage BI Publisher templates and web services.Analyze existing Oracle Forms applications and design migration strategies to scalable and secure web applications using Oracle Apex.Develop APIs and connections to external applications.Successfully deliver enterprise-level workflow centric applications.Build logical functions and algorithms to automate business processes.Interface with customers to understand requirements and mission needs.Write and maintain system documentation on work products.Required Experience/SkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or field applicable to the position.12-15 years of prior relevant experience (or Master's with 10-13 years of experience).Experience with secure network programming in Oracle environment; use of security certificates, HTTPS callouts, etc.Experience with full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications, including Oracle APEX toolset.Experience with Oracle Integrated Development Environments such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer.Experience with JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.Experience with PL/SQL, Java, Windows PowerShell, and Unix she
