Job Overview:As a Server at O&A Line Management, you play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Your primary responsibility is to provide attentive and personalized service, ensuring guest satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant. As a front-line ambassador, you represent our establishment and contribute significantly to the positive reputation we strive to maintain.The Role…We are looking for a Server to support a fast-moving business. The right individual to be autonomous and be able to pick up multiple tasks and projects at once.Our culture is pacey but supportive, so you must be able to work in synergy with your peers and the different departments around you. Being an active communicator who is customer-focused and detail-oriented is a must to ensure the experience provided is uniquely brilliant.Key Responsibilities:· Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.· Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations based on guests' preferences.· Accurately take and record guests' food and beverage orders.· Communicate orders to the kitchen and bar promptly and accurately.· Provide attentive and personalized service throughout the dining experience.· Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.· Possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and special promotions.· Make recommendations and upsell items to enhance the guest experience.· Actively promote additional menu items, specials, and beverages to increase sales.· Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance guests' dining experience.· Address guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.· Collaborate with kitchen and management to resolve any service-related challenges.· Handle guest payments, process transactions accurately, and provide change.· Maintain cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.· Keep the server station, dining areas, and workspaces clean and organized.· Assist with overall restaurant cleanliness and contribute to a positive atmosphere.· Collaborate with bussers, runners, kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure an excellent dining experience.· Communicate effectively with team members and support a positive working environment.· Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 -2 years of experience in a fast-paced and professional environment
  • Previous experience as a server or back server with a food-forward and high-volume establishment
  • Proven success of “champion of the culture,” facilitating excellent communication and engagement
  • Team focused with an understanding of the bigger picture and how you can contribute
  • ServSafe Food Handlers Certification
  • Responsible Beverage Service(RBS) Training with Certification
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
  • Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
  • Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.
  • Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 20 to 60 pounds.
  • Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
  • Must be able to use a step ladder.
