- Provide professional services for civil engineering projects to include design, plans, specifications, reports, project budgets, scope of work, permits, contracts, schedules, estimates, and coordination of sub-consultants and contractors
- Provide professional services for the design and construction of water supply and distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and water/wastewater treatment facilities
- Work within multi-discipline projects that include civil, electrical, and architectural aspects
- Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work
- Assist Project Manager in maintaining budgets and schedules of project assignments and in maintaining quality client relationships and communication
- Coordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetings
- Provide guidance to junior engineers, technicians, and other project team members
- Gather critical data to assist clients with project financing and funding development
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- Ability to travel as required for business development and project/client responsibilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Maintain stellar reputation for integrity, fairness, reliability, good judgement and aptitude among peers, management, and staff
- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations
- Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering or 5 years of related consulting experience
- Registration as a Professional Engineer ideal or ability to obtain within 3 months
- Proficient with Civil 3D, ESRI Products, and/or hydraulic or process modeling software
- Design work and knowledge with water supply, water resources, drinking water and wastewater treatment and collection systems, utility planning, and other municipal vertical and horizontal infrastructure
- Experience leading both internal initiatives and external projects
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
