- Investigate and correct root causes of product failures occurring in the field.
- Ensure design control process compliance throughout whole product lifecycle and deliver training on quality process guiding colleagues and team members as required.
- Guide and overall support product risk management process.
- Establish, maintain, monitor QMS process performance with data analysis and lead quality improvement project from system level
- Responsible for issuing or reviewing and approving validation documents
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or technical field required
- 3+ years of relevant experience in biomedical or medical device manufacturing preferred
- Uses analytical mind and data analysis to creatively and pragmatically solve problems, comes up with solutions
- Extensive knowledge of quality standards ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
- Knowledge of QMS
- Ability to travel 15 % travel, overnight, within USA and internationally
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb
