This is a strategic opportunity for a skilled engineer to contribute to impactful municipal and government-funded projects—while also being considered for a leadership role depending on experience.With a strong focus on hydrology and hydraulics, this role includes working on a wide range of public infrastructure initiatives such as stormwater systems, drainage design, water management, and related civil site solutions. If you're a civil engineer passionate about making a real difference in the communities you serve, this role offers both purpose and professional growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead or support the design and analysis of civil infrastructure systems including:Stormwater managementPond designDrainage and collection systemsConveyance networksAssist in the preparation of permitting documentation and liaise with jurisdictional agencies.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality engineering solutions.Prepare technical reports, design calculations, and progress updates for internal and external stakeholders.Develop cost estimates and support budgeting efforts for assigned projects.Maintain strong relationships with clients and represent the firm in a professional, proactive manner.Apply quality control standards to ensure regulatory compliance and technical excellence.Utilize tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft 365, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software (e.g., ICPR).Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.8–10 years of experience in civil engineering, with emphasis on public infrastructure.Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida or ability to obtain Florida licensure quickly.Proficiency in hydrology, stormwater, and drainage system design.Strong communication skills and client relationship abilities.Experience with permitting and coordination with regulatory agencies.Demonstrated project management and team collaboration experience.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and ICPR or other state-approved modeling tools.Background working on federal, state, or municipal infrastructure contracts.Familiarity with project scoping, budgeting, and construction support.Desire and capability to grow into a leadership or mentoring role.This is more than just a design role—it's an opportunity to help shape infrastructure that improves everyday life.
