Senior Azure Data EngineerOur client is seeking a highly skilled and business-savvy Senior Azure Data Engineer to join their growing Data Integrations and Business Intelligence team. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and business, bringing data strategies to life while engaging with cross-functional stakeholders.   • Location: Onsite in Indianapolis, IN
  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $60-65/hr W2

What You’ll Do:
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines and integrations using Azure tools including Data Factory, Synapse, ADLS, and Databricks
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into actionable technical solutions
  • Lead integration strategies across SAP, Salesforce, and other platforms, improving data flow and consistency
  • Apply best practices across the entire data lifecycle—architecture, testing, deployment, and documentation
  • Contribute to data strategy development while supporting enterprise transformation and accountability culture
What Gets You the Job:
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Azure data engineering tools such as ADF, Databricks, Synapse, ADLS, and Azure SQL
  • Strong SQL scripting skills and experience integrating SAP, Salesforce, or similar enterprise systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with business units to capture requirements and drive data-driven decision-making
  • Familiarity with API management, middleware integration, and tools like Power BI or Boomi
  • Excellent communication, accountability, and problem-solving skills in cross-functional environments
