PAY RATE: Up to $25/hourWe are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.Job Details:Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)Shift: 2ndIndustry: Aerospace / Defense / AviationBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision (Cigna)Perks: Bonus potential + Priority access via Tier 1 supplierOpenings Nationwide: Thousands of opportunities across the U.S.Qualifying Questions:Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?Summary:Set up, operate, and perform minor troubleshooting on MyCronic or Universal Fuzion SMT equipmentPerform component placement, soldering, inspection, and AOIOperate additional SMT tools including X-ray, stencil printers, and reflow ovensConduct equipment setup and adjustments with minimal supervisionEnsure all work complies with IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S principlesSupport production targets and continuous improvement initiativesRead and interpret blueprints and follow written/verbal instructionsRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred2+ years of SMT experience with MyCronic or Universal Fuzion machinesProficient in SMT production processes, soldering, and visual/AOI inspectionExperience with machine shop practices and SMT equipment setupKnowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD)Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindsetAbility to work independently and on rotating lines as neededBasic computer skills and English reading/writing proficiencyMust be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).About Us:The Structures Company is a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency specializing in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire placements.
