Growing together.The Provider Strategy and Insights (PSI) team is seeking a Senior Business Analyst Consultant to join our dynamic and collaborative environment. This role will contribute to both short- and long-term operational and strategic planning by developing, enhancing, and maintaining reporting dashboards, analyses, and actionable insights.We're looking for a self-starter with a strong desire to grow and learn, who embraces a growth mindset and is comfortable navigating ambiguity. The ideal candidate is a team player with a passion for understanding the payer/provider relationship and a drive to develop effective, strategic business solutions through research, data analysis, and process improvement.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead data analytics and dashboard development associated with payer/provider relationship and interactions
  • Develop data models to identify key abrasions associated with the administrative burden of providers
  • Visualize findings through dynamic Tableau or PowerBI dashboards that will be accessible to executive team leaders
  • Validate data ingestion and transformation pipeline to optimize analytic processes and designs
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to deliver and interpret credible and actionable data-driven tools and solutions to drive improved business performance and operational savings
  • Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them
  • Serve as a key resource on complex and / or critical issues and provide explanations and information to others
  • Perform complex conceptual analyses
  • Supports the broad Provider Organization- Provider Service, Provider Data Operations, Provider Experience teams
  • Meet with stakeholders and senior leaders to gather and document data requirements and present and train on completed solutions
  • Create transparency of initiatives in flight, timing, dependencies by translating highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences

  • 7+ years of experience with healthcare data analysis including, but not limited to, claims data, clinical data, or patients/providers surveys and engagements
  • 7+ years of documenting and presenting analytic findings to senior leaders
  • Intermediate level proficiency in SQL
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Tableau or PowerBI dashboard development
  • Proven solid desire to learn and grow
  • Presently employed within UHC Provider Operations

The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment.
