We encourage each other to think big, run experiments and follow our curiosity so we can build better tooling that lets developers shine and empower their users.Learn more about Privy:What you'll doAs a technical leader, You will own and drive frontend SDK development at Privy, building interfaces to feel stack-native and easier to iterate on, work on how we bundle and release SDKs, make our SDKs performant and slim. You'll also own architecture for deeply challenging technical problems, like token management, storage, iframes, popups, and data management across platforms, with a focus on our core React and Javascript SDKs, but can influence and teach learnings across our numerous SDKs.Minimum requirements
  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Javascript and React, experience with Next.js is a plus
  • Experience building and maintaining a production system at scale
  • Prior experience working closely with a designer to iterate on a product
  • An understanding of modern web development best practices
  • Experience writing delightful developer documentation
Preferred qualifications
  • Strong preference for experience in an API-based business and in payments, fintech, or crypto.
  • Written open-source developer tooling
  • Published about your work (code, presentations, papers, blog posts, etc.)
  • Past experience working closely with Design teams in authentication, security, or in web3
In-office expectationsOffice-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in our Bucharest, Romania site have an 80% in-office expectation, and those in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico and Bengaluru, India work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.Pay and benefitsThe annual US base salary range for this role is $224,000 - $336,000. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location.
