- Lead and deliver clinical education and training for staff, ensuring compliance with NYSDOH and facility standards
- Assess and enhance staff competencies via coaching, mentoring, audits, and performance evaluations
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and best practices
- Evaluate and improve staff competencies and performance
- Ensure Quality Assurance for all nursing staff and practices
- Offer mentorship and professional development opportunities
- Collaborate with facility leadership to enhance patient care quality
- Lead staff onboarding orientations
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure nursing excellence
- Develop and track staff development programs on topics such as infection control, body mechanics, emergency preparedness and OSHA standards
- Maintain training records, report on program outcomes, and stay current through workshops, publications and professional networks
- Current New York State RN license in good standing
- BSN Required, MSN/MAN preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Nurse Educator or in clinical staff development (long-term care preferred)
- Proven ability to create and deliver engaging education, with strong coaching and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication; adept at building rapport across all levels
- CPR certification required (CPR trainer certification preferred)
- $130,000-$140,000/year depending on fit and relevant experience.
