Description :What You’ll Do:Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptionsManage inventory: order, receive, stock, and track medicationsProvide top-tier customer service at the register and on the sales floorSupport data entry and patient communications via phone and in personParticipate in specialty programs like meds-to-beds, curbside pickup, and concierge servicesEnsure compliance with FDA, DEA, CMS, TJC, and Maryland Board of Pharmacy regulationsCollaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain smooth operationsWhat You Bring:Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Pharmacy Technician certification preferredExperience: Prior pharmacy technician experience preferred; newly licensed techs welcomeLicensure: Must be registered with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy (or obtain within 30 days of hire); national certification preferredSkills: Strong communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Physical & Mental Requirements:Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and fine hand-eye coordinationHigh levels of concentration, multitasking, and communicationOccasional exposure to hazardous materials and temperature fluctuationsHappy to HelpAt Meritus, we believe in a collaborative and caring work environment.
