Description :Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for patient care and medication safety? Join our dynamic pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician, where you'll play a vital role in supporting pharmacists, patients, and healthcare providers across both inpatient and outpatient settings. From preparing and delivering medications to maintaining inventory systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, your work will directly impact the quality and safety of patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately prepare and deliver medications via computerized tube system or hand deliveryMaintain Pyxis stock, CII Safe, and manage discharge and transfer processesPerform stock billing and ensure medication inventory is up-to-date and safeRepackage medications for unit dose systemsAssist in monthly cleaning and disinfecting of the clean roomComply with hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, Maryland Board of Pharmacy regulations, USP 795 and USP 800Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and other departmentsParticipate in continuous process improvement initiativesWhat You BringHigh School Diploma or GED (required)Previous pharmacy technician experience (preferred)Registered Maryland Board of Pharmacy Technician license (required)If licensed in another state, must obtain Maryland license within 30 days of hireNational Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred)Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong understanding of medical terminologyAbility to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentWhy Join UsCollaborative and supportive team environmentOpportunity to work across diverse pharmacy settingsCommitment to safety, quality, and innovationProfessional development and growth opportunitiesCaring for Our Team
